My Polar Heart Rate watch works well, but doesn’t read a consistent HR Signal. Should I replace the strap?
The Watch doesn't seem to have any problems, as it accurately reads my foot pod. But, today, it wasn't able to read my Heart Rate on the treadmill. The signal kept going in and out, despite there being plenty of moisture between my skin and the strap.
What do you think? Is it the strap, or the watch? Once again, the watch was able to keep track of the footpod today, but it kept losing the HR Signal.
How long has the strap been used since you last changed the battery?
It may be that the battery is going flat in the strap and not sending out a strong enough radio signal.
